- About Mrs. Coo -
Hello everyone, and welcome to our class website! My name is Mrs. Coo; I have been a culinary arts teacher since 2013, and at Arroyo Seco since 2015. My passion for teaching began as a senior in high school when I taught my fellow classmates the art of cake decorating. I fell in love with teaching and decided to combine my love of cooking with the field of education. I graduated from the California Culinary Academy in 2007, and received my Bachelor of Science in Home Economics from CSUN in 2011. I love watching students gain new skills and confidence in the kitchen. When I am not in the classroom, I am usually at home preparing new recipes, and testing them with my husband and son. My goal for students is for them to have fun and gain independence in a safe, supportive environment. - Technology in our Classroom -
In our classroom, we practice digital citizenship and use technology multiple times per week to watch demonstrations, and produce creative work to showcase student achievement.
